The security, performance, and reliability firm Cloudflare, Inc., which is assisting in the development of a better Internet, today announced the expansion of its partnership with Microsoft to further enable clients to instal, automate, and improve their organization’s Zero Trust security.
Critical programs have gone to the cloud and are no longer housed in a security-fence-enclosed workplace, and remote working from anywhere is becoming increasingly popular. As a result, enterprises have been forced to reconsider their current technologies and move away from the classic castle-and-moat method of protection in favour of zero trust. In order to assist enterprises in navigating this paradigm transition, Cloudflare has created a new set of integrations with Microsoft. Joint customers may now quickly and easily deploy Zero Trust security solutions and industry-first features without requiring complicated code changes.

Customers of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Cloudflare can now:
Zero Trust security implementation without modifying a single line of source code Mutual customers can now create customised rules in Azure AD or Cloudflare Access, for example, B. which users are permitted to access specific applications based on different criteria like user risk level, device platform, location, etc., and enforce this in both products without changing a single line of source code.
Automated browser separation using market-leading browser isolation technology: High-risk users, such as contract workers, are proactively isolated in a remote browsing session for increased security by integrating Cloudflare Remote Browser Isolation with Azure AD.
Reduce manual labour by hundreds of hours for IT teams: For direct connection with Azure AD, Cloudflare Access makes use of Cross-Domain Identity Management (SCIM) technology. Cloudflare and Azure Active Directory platforms and groups instantly sync group memberships, saving IT workers hundreds of hours of manual labour.
Government customers (GCC) will be able to safeguard sensitive data traffic by preventing it from flowing through the public internet by connecting Azure Government Cloud to Cloudflare’s global network via the Secure Hybrid Access (SHA) programme. Additionally, government customers may leverage the joint solution from the dashboard and without making any code modifications, set up and enforce specific rules limiting who can access what data.
